Hello! Today I want to share my experience visiting Gangchon Tourist Farm with my research lab for a seminar/workshop.

Accommodation

The site offers both glamping and pension accommodations. The glamping area is spacious and comfortable, with essential amenities like beds, air conditioning, and a refrigerator, which made our stay very convenient.

At Gangchon Tourist Farm, there’s a variety of activities to enjoy:

• Stream Swimming: There’s a wide, shallow stream right next to the camping area, perfect for cooling off and playing in the water. For stream activities, the owner even provided canoes and kayaks, so groups like ours could paddle together and have friendly races, adding a unique and fun touch to our experience.

• Swimming Pool: A small pool is open for extra water fun.

• Singing Room (no-rae bang) : Although the machine was haf-broken, it was great singing by the waters.

• Barbecue: Each glamping site has its own barbecue setup, allowing us to enjoy a delicious barbecue with everyone from the lab.

One of the best things about Gangchon Tourist Farm is being surrounded by nature while having so many fun activities to do. Having the stream nearby for easy water play was especially convenient, and the glamping site was clean and comfortable. Our whole group really enjoyed the outing, and I’d definitely want to come back here again!
