Hello everyone,

Today marked the final day of the Basic Korean class organized by the Hallym University Global Engagement Center. It has been an incredible learning journey, and I am excited to share my experience with everyone.

For our final exam, we had to prepare and deliver a self-introduction presentation entirely in Korean. This was a wonderful opportunity to practice speaking and use the vocabulary and grammar we learned throughout the course. Standing in front of the class and speaking Korean was both challenging and rewarding. I felt nervous at first, but as I started speaking, I became more confident and proud of my progress.

The Basic Korean class was thoughtfully designed to help international students like me get comfortable with the Korean language and culture. From learning simple greetings to forming sentences about ourselves, this course provided a strong foundation that I will continue to build on. The instructors were supportive and encouraging, creating a positive learning environment where everyone felt motivated to improve.

Thanks to the Global Engagement Center at Hallym University for organizing this valuable program. It not only helped me develop my language skills but also gave me the chance to connect with other students from different backgrounds. We shared experiences, practiced speaking together, and supported each other’s growth.

I am grateful for this experience and look forward to continuing my Korean studies. Speaking Korean has opened a new world of opportunities for me, both academically and socially. I encourage other students to participate in similar programs if they want to improve their language skills and embrace Korean culture.
