Have you ever returned to a place only to find it completely transformed? That’s exactly what happened to me a few days ago when I visited Gwangalli Beach in Busan—again. The last time I went, the beach felt almost abandoned. It was quiet, empty, and honestly, a bit boring. But this time? It was like stepping into a whole new world.

Summer had truly arrived, and so had the crowds. The beach was packed with people from all walks of life, each adding their own rhythm to the scene. Some were swimming freely in the ocean, while others stretched out under the sun, soaking up every warm ray. Children were everywhere—laughing, digging, and building little sand kingdoms that seemed more important than anything else in the world.

What changed so much between then and now? Was it the season, the energy, or just my own mood? Whatever it was, I found myself smiling the entire time. The same beach that once felt dull had turned into a vibrant, living painting of summer joy. Life is strange like that—sometimes, the same place can feel completely different depending on when and how you see it. This time, I didn’t just visit Gwangalli Beach—I experienced it.
