As the winter season rolls in here in South Korea, I’ve been thinking about how to stay comfortable despite the freezing temperatures. South Korean winters can be intense, with temperatures often dipping well below freezing. While traditional indoor heating systems like ondol (underfloor heating) are common, I wanted an extra layer of warmth to make sure my living space stays cozy. So, I decided to invest in an external heater to help me get through the cold months ahead.

As much as winter brings a lot of beauty, from snow-covered streets to cozy indoor evenings, it can also feel a bit isolating if you’re not prepared for the chill. That’s why I’d recommend investing in a good external heater if you haven’t already.
