If there’s one place in Seoul that truly comes alive during the holiday season, it’s Myeongdong Street. I had the chance to visit this bustling area one evening near Christmas, and it was nothing short of magical.

The festive decorations, sparkling lights, and lively atmosphere made me feel like I’d stepped into a winter wonderland. The air was filled with the delicious aroma of street food, which is a must-try experience in Myeongdong. From savory treats like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and hotteok (sweet pancakes) to unique delights like giant strawberries dipped in chocolate and grilled lobster tails, there was something for every craving.

What made the visit even more special was sharing this experience with friends. We tried so many dishes that night and kept saying, “Just one more!” The flavors were incredible, and the warm food was perfect for the chilly evening. It was so good that we ended up going back the next day to try the things we missed the first time!

Apart from the food, the Christmas decorations added so much charm to the area. Street performers and holiday music made it feel festive and cozy, even in the middle of the busy city.
