Hello everyone,

Today, I had the pleasure of going out for lunch with my Korean teacher, and it was a truly special experience. We decided to try 능이삼계탕 (Neungi Samgyetang), a nutritious and flavorful ginseng chicken soup infused with Neungi mushrooms. This dish is known for its deep, earthy aroma and health benefits, making it a perfect meal to enjoy on a cool day.

We visited a restaurant located in 퇴계동, Chuncheon (1137-3), and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The broth was rich and comforting, and the tender chicken paired perfectly with the fragrant mushrooms. Sharing this meal with my teacher made it even more enjoyable, as we talked about Korean culture, language, and daily life. It was a wonderful opportunity to practice my Korean while enjoying delicious food.

I’m grateful for the chance to explore more of Korean cuisine and culture through moments like this.
