Food & Drink Dubai Dessert

Dubai-style desserts have been all the rage lately. Korean café brands have started launching their own versions to ride the wave. Twosome Place recently introduced a Dubai-inspired version of its already popular Ice Box, so I decided to try it for myself.
The original Ice Box is a well-known dessert at Twosome Place — layers of cream and cake in a small rectangular box, served chilled. The Dubai version features pistachio cream and kataifi, inspired by the now-famous Dubai chocolate. While it looked similar to the original, the cream was green, and a cross-section revealed layers of pistachio cream, kataifi, and brownie in the center.
My expectations weren't very high going in. Desserts labeled "Dubai" at brand-name cafes tend to be expensive, and sometimes it feels like the brand just slapped on the label without much thought. So I was pleasantly surprised. I could clearly taste the pistachio, the kataifi added a nice crunch and texture, and the brownie layer in the middle was a bonus I wasn't expecting.
It's a familiar format — the Ice Box you already know — with a solid Dubai twist, at a price that feels reasonable. If you like the original Ice Box and are curious about the Dubai dessert trend, it's definitely worth trying at least once.
