Our department recently hosted an international academic seminar titled “Profiling & AI Policing: Opening the Future of Policing with AI” from February 17 to 18 at the 600th Anniversary Hall of Sungkyunkwan University.
I had the opportunity to participate as a staff member, and it was such a valuable experience.
The event was co-hosted by Hallym University’s Department of Forensic Information Science and Technology, Sungkyunkwan University’s Department of Forensic Science, the National Police Agency, and the Korea Data Forensic Society.
It brought together experts and scholars from around the world to discuss the convergence of cutting-edge AI technology and criminal investigation techniques.
The seminar featured a series of lectures, panel discussions, and networking sessions that sparked meaningful conversations about the future of policing and public safety.
With enthusiastic participation and engaging presentations, the event concluded with great success.
