Hello everyone,

Last night was a special moment for us as Sri Lankan friends in south korea. After a long time, we gathered to cook and enjoy a homemade Sri Lankan meal, bringing a taste of home to South Korea. The aroma of familiar spices filled our kitchen, reminding us of the meals we used to share back home with family and friends.

We prepared a delicious spread, including Sri Lankan style fried rice, flavorful chicken curry, dhal curry, and spicy chili paste. Cooking together felt like a celebration of our culture, and the first bite instantly transported us back to Sri Lanka. The warmth of the meal was not just in the food but also in the laughter and shared memories at the table.

Being away from home can be challenging, but moments like these make it easier. This meal was more than just food it was a reminder of our roots, our friendship, and the comforting power of home-cooked dishes. We hope to continue these gatherings and share our Sri Lankan flavors with more friends in the future.
