Hello, and welcome to the podcast. I’m Soyun. Today, I’ve prepared a topic that perfectly fits the season. It’s all about staying healthy during the autumn transition. The mornings and evenings are getting cooler, but the afternoons still carry some of summer’s warmth. This big difference between day and night, along with sudden changes in weather, is exactly what makes this transition season unique. These days, because of climate change, autumn feels shorter. We sometimes face unexpected cold snaps, or stretches of very dry weather. This instability in the climate directly affects our health. That’s why taking care of ourselves during this season is more important than ever. When the temperature shifts so much, our bodies can get tired easily, and our immune system can weaken. That’s why colds and allergies often show up. Personally, I really struggle with allergic rhinitis every autumn. My eyes get itchy. My throat feels sore and swollen. And a constant runny nose makes daily life uncomfortable. I know many of you may deal with the same issues. That’s why seasonal health care matters so much. So, what can we do to stay healthier and more comfortable? Let me share a few simple tips. First, keep your indoor environment balanced. Temperature around 20 to 22 degrees, and humidity between 50 and 60 percent. Too dry, and your nose and throat get irritated. Too humid, and mold grows easily. Second, wash your hands regularly. Soap and water, at least 30 seconds. Simple, but still the most effective prevention. Third, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Seasonal produce is rich in vitamins and minerals. Even one fresh fruit a day makes a difference. Fourth, drink warm water often. It soothes your throat, keeps your airways moist, and helps circulation. Fifth, practice good cough etiquette. Wear a mask or cover your mouth and nose with your sleeve. Small action, big difference. Sixth, wear a mask if you have symptoms. Cough, runny nose, or sore throat—protect yourself and protect others. Seventh, avoid touching your face too often. Especially eyes, nose, and mouth. They’re the easiest way for viruses to enter. And finally, exercise and rest. Move your body lightly. Get enough sleep. These basics keep your immune system strong. Autumn is a time when both body and mind adjust to a new season. By sticking to small, healthy habits, we can go through this transition smoothly. That’s it for today’s episode. Thank you for listening. And I hope you enjoy a warm, healthy autumn.
